OUR STORY
Why Run in a Santa Hat and a Speedo?
Honestly… why wouldn’t you?
Because holiday traditions are better when everyone leaves smiling. Santa Speedo Run isn’t about setting personal records. It’s about showing up, making memories, embracing the ridiculous, and giving back to something that matters. One mile. Thousands of laughs. One community coming together to prove that doing good can look really good too.

Most Asked Questions
Before you ask… yes, the Speedo is real. We’ve rounded up the questions everyone asks so you can spend less time wondering and more time planning your outfit. No coal here. Just answers.
Do I really have to wear a Speedo?
Only if you want to! Santa hats are highly encouraged, but what you wear is entirely up to your comfort level. Some participants go all in with a red Speedo, while others rock festive shorts, holiday costumes, or creative outfits. However you show up, you're part of the fun.
I'm not a runner. Can I still participate?
Absolutely. Santa Speedo Run is all about having fun, not setting records. Walk, jog, strut, or sashay your way through one unforgettable mile.
Where does my registration fee go?
Every registration helps support the life changing work of the ICG Foundation, funding programs that expand access to HIV prevention, testing, education, and healthcare in our community.
Can I bring my friends?
Please do. The more Santas, the merrier. Build a team, raise money together, and help us launch Tampa Bay's newest holiday tradition.
